The New Dad Playbook is operated as a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. We sell digital guides and resources to expectant and new fathers.

How we use your data
To fulfil your order (legal basis: Contract)
When you purchase a product, we use your email to deliver your digital download and send your receipt. This is necessary to fulfil our contract with you.

Third parties we share data with
Stripe (Payment Processing)
All payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Stripe may process your data outside the UK - see their privacy policy for details.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (property ID: G-87FEPJF0MG) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics sets cookies and may transfer data to Google's servers, including in the USA. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel (ID: 1303411297957354) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to reach people who may be interested in our guide. Meta may use this data to show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can control your ad preferences via Facebook's ad settings.
Email delivery
We use third-party email services to deliver your digital products and transactional emails. These providers act as data processors under our instruction.
Web hosting
Our site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes server logs which may include your IP address. See Vercel's privacy policy.

- Email marketing - until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data
- Contact enquiries - up to 2 years from last contact
- Analytics data - as per Google Analytics default retention (26 months)
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. We use strong passwords and two-factor authentication on all accounts with access to personal data.
International transfers
Some of our third-party providers (including Google and Meta) may process your data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
